We are actively seeking a IT Project Manager ​ERP. This is a remote position that can be based anywhere is the US.


Position Summary


The role of an IT Project Manager ERP is to implement and upgrade On-premise as well as Cloud-based Infrastructure and Applications, IT solutions and tools at Rimini Street, working within the Information Technology department. To qualify, he or she must have managed many Cross-functional IT initiatives, driving corporate-wide projects and rollouts with a successful and proven delivery track record.


In addition, this person will assist with improvements to current project methodologies, recommend new processes, procedures and provide project support, training and guidance to other teams as needed.  He or she must prove to be trustworthy, decisive, loyal, and be able to handle stress. Working with various remote team members spread across various time zones is required in this role.


A Qualified candidate will have extensive experience in managing many medium to large complex IT projects with team sizes up to 25+ people, ranging from implementation of Complex IT solutions working with other business partners to process improvement related projects. The right person will have experience in various project methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall and Hybrid.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work with stakeholders to determine and prioritize business objectives, critical success factors to ensure timely and successful completion of approved IT projects.
  • Responsible for scoping and managing the overall project deliverables using the assigned resources within schedule, while communicating with stakeholders.
  • Provide clear and consistent communication of project status both internally to the project team, business stakeholders and executive sponsors with detailed status, the next steps and the associated risks.
  • Establish and sustain strong on-going relationships with business partners.
  • Scope, develop and maintain project plan, milestones, agendas, action items lists, deliverables, risk, lessons learned and ensure adherence to company Project Management Standards and Software Development Lifecycle best practices.
  • Evaluate business requirements, new system specifications, vendor solutions, and provide recommendations.
  • Provide leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project life cycle.
  • Manage a high degree of change in a fast paced, complex and demanding environment.
  • Provide training in project management and project tools to other team members, as needed.

  • Other job-related duties and responsibilities may be assigned from time to time.


Experience 

  • 8 – 10 years’ experience managing complex IT projects/programs
  • Extensive Project Management experience rolling out IT products and tools within the Enterprise applications or IT Infrastructure space with Business stakeholders
  • Experience managing many projects simultaneously and working with diverse remote teams across the world, with team sizes of 25+
  • Experience leading enterprise ERP system implementations is highly preferred
  • Experience with MS Dynamics 365 (D365) is a plus
  • Experience supporting internal business owners within an enterprise
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum and Waterfall project management methodologies
  • Experience with analyzing complex issues and delivering appropriate solutions
  • Demonstrate the ability to identify opportunities for change and the ability to convey the need for change
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams working with various stakeholders to set expectations, and liaison with Business Analysts, Technical SME’s and Business Leaders

Skills

  • Working knowledge of Cloud applications, Application Programming Interfaces
  • Proficient with Project Management tools such as Smartsheets & MS Project
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills, including ability to tailor communication to audience to achieve desired results.
  • Ability to understand basics of technical software systems and system interfaces
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Sharepoint, Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with collaboration tools like Microsoft TEAMS, OneDrive, and OneNote
  • Aptitude to lead and direct work of matrix project teams
  • Leadership qualities, including meeting facilitation, time management, organizational skills and ability to influence others
  • Proficient with concepts of project financial budget reporting, including project forecasting and capitalization


Education

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • PMP or other related project management certifications are strongly recommended

Rimini’s target pay for each position is available upon request during the applicant’s Interview process.


The general salary range for this type of role is 118k - 177k depending on skills and experience.
