We are actively seeking a People Engagement Specialist. This is a remote position and can be based anywhere is the U.K.


Position Summary


This role rolls up within HR function and reports to the SVP, Global Human Resources. As People Engagement Specialist, you will be responsible for planning and execution of employee engagement activity within Rimini Street, EMEA, across employee life cycle ensuring adherence to global brand guidelines. 

Area of focus: Internal communication, Program management, event & celebrations, external communication, employer branding, community, Culture building and enabling a world class employee experience.


Develop strategies to improve engagement by redefining employee/employer relationship, and manage programs designed to collaborate and align with, including but not limited to, recruitment, onboarding, retention, recognition, learning and development, diversity, wellness, and other activities aimed at creating a positive workplace environment.

The ideal candidate should excel in the ability to translate Rimini Street’s brand into an experience that helps strengthen and grow its internal and external community across EMEA, with emphasis on Rimini Culture.


What are we looking for:  

 

  • Engagement Program Management: (REBOOT Program in the region)– Drive program initiatives along with employee volunteers as applicable through events and social team channels. Be creative and build a library of team building / engagement activities and interventions. 
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders (HR Business Partners, Learning & Development, Business Stakeholders, Talent Acquisition, Facilities, Finance, etc.)  to arrive at the budget proposals and arranging logistics.  
  • Internal communication: Understand different audience profiles to choose appropriate communication mediums to create organization wide announcements and other HR interventions.
  • Event & celebrations: Ensuring work & fun go hand in hand. Plan and execute events and celebrations for employee engagement in line with company culture and ensure all event and activities are delivered with healthy participation.
  • Fun Component: Drive the fun agenda as part of Rimini Culture, where we work hard, and party hard and also create opportunities within the workplace to unwind.  
  • External communication:  Be seen! Creating and maintaining communication kit for recruitment (aligned with Talent Acquisition standards), organization wide announcements in media.
  • Employer branding: Collaborate with key stakeholders to define and communicate organizations employee value proposition. Create compelling and engaging content for various communication channels, such as intranet, emails, videos, and social collaboration platforms.
  • Community - We strongly believe in giving back to the society, specifically organizations in need that match our cultural philosophies for support and care.  Support & promote initiatives of the company with healthy participation from employees.
  • Townhall & Meets: We love to chat with our leaders, plan and execute quarterly townhalls, client visits and, leadership meets.
  • Culture building: Upward communication, propagating organization wide values, partnering with Organizational Development initiatives.
  • World Class Employee Experience: Ensure journey of individuals experience from recruitment to alumni is engaging in conjunction with Talent Acquisition and Learning and Enablement team’s initiatives. Create engaging content for our alumni and promote employer branding with a focus on inclusion and belonging
  • External Benchmarking: Keep benchmarking engagement practices with the industry leaders and adopt the best ones that aligns with our culture.
  • Metrics and Measures: Create and manage surveys, reports to keep a check on overall employee engagement.  Coordinate with Stakeholders on Action Plans to address needs.  Provide reports and data supporting efforts.  Analytics and metrics to measure engagement success.

  • Working knowledge of writing and creating HR / BRAND content and messaging.

  • Creativity that brings programs to life that positively impact employee engagement and motivation.
  • Metrics driven and result orientation.  
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Canva, Adobe Illustrator, SharePoint, Teams and PowerPoint.


Education & Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree in a field related to Marketing, Human Resource, Communication or equivalent knowledge and experience.
  • 6- 8 years of relevant experience in delivering high impact people initiatives in a global environment.
