Splunk App Developer - Anvilogic

Anvilogic is looking for a motivated individual to continue development on our production Splunk app. You will be fully in charge of the development and maintenance of the frontend and backend features of the Splunk app which are a critical part of our product. This role will challenge you to learn new things and contribute significant value to the business.


The main responsibilities include:

  • Working with the customer-facing team members to understand and implement new requirements
  • Improve existing and create new Splunk dashboards to meet those requirements
  • Add integrations with our cloud workflow through REST APIs and WebSockets
  • Researching and learning new things to remain agile in our capabilities and enhancements
  • Being able to troubleshoot Splunk issues in different environments and work with customers if needed is not required but a plus


The following skills are required:

  • Experience developing python applications
  • Experience developing javascript (backbone) / html applications
  • Splunk experience - as a user, admin, or developer
  • Using REST API’s and knowledge of networking (different protocols, proxies, firewalls, etc…)
  • Aptitude and willingness to learn new things


The following skills are preferred but not required:

  • Splunk app development experience
  • REACT JS experience
  • Knowledge of security logs and data
  • Experience troubleshooting Splunk environments
