A Day in the Life of the Account Executive


As the Account Executive, you will be responsible for hunting and closing new business as well as managing your book of business. The ideal candidate has a history of bringing on new business and hitting sales quotas and loves the challenges that come with outbound prospecting in a competitive market. 


  • Close new accounts each month! 
  • Strategically pursue companies within your assigned territories.
  • You will work to understand the client's challenges, goals, and buying process and leverage it to become explicitly familiar with their operations, decision-makers, and methods of doing business.
  • Hunt for opportunities where our client will be a great fit. In all prospecting efforts, prioritize opportunities with the highest ROI and best fit.
  • Relay feedback from customers to engineering and other functional areas in an accurate and timely manner to ensure resolution so they can prioritize the right tasks.
  • Become an expert of our client's product offering to enable you to convey its true value to the customer
  • As an early member of the organization’s sales team, you’ll also help build the foundation of our future. 

 

Qualifications


  • 2-5 years in a closing/quota-carrying role
  • Proven track record exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Experience selling to mid/enterprise-market in B2B tech environment
  • Experience prospecting and closing leads
  • Experience at an early-stage company or selling a new product in a fast-growing company
