A Day in the Life of the VP of Networks

This position builds and maintains relationships with follow-on capital providers for portfolio companies, investment bankers, and potential acquirers, as well as a network of value-add professionals.

Responsibilities include:

• Deploy effective networking tactics
• Help build the organization's local and national presence
• Build and refine the organization's reputation and presence in the investment ecosystem
• Collaborate with marketing to plan events, deploy messaging and articulate brand positioning, and connect with entrepreneurs and investors
• Continually seek out new opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations

Qualifications

• 5-7 years' experience in networking and relationship-building
• Comes from an Investment Banking or Corporate Development background
• Experience interfacing with CEOs and executives 
• Experience building networks for a similar firm or industry
• Pleasant, driven, and energetic self-starter
• Brings a well-connected, high-value network to the organization
