Audit Senior

Our client is seeking a talented Audit Senior who will assist with audit planning and provide ideas to improve processes and procedures. They are Headquartered in Salt Lake City, UT but this role will be a full-time position working in their new office in Mexico City, Mexico.

As an Audit Senior, you will be working with a clientele that is diverse. You will serve high-net-worth individuals, software developers, medical device manufacturers, financial institutions, construction contractors, non-profit organizations, employee benefit plans, and SEC clients, just to name a few.

Responsibilities of the Audit Senior:

• Provide ideas to improve client processes and procedures
• Understand our clients’ businesses and industries
• Working directly with US companies & US individuals
• Identify accounting and auditing issues
• Assist with audit planning
• Perform audit fieldwork
• Resolve issues
• Manage the tax accounting staff and the audit planning, reporting, and compliance functions
• Oversee the preparation of all audit reporting in compliance with all required regulations



Qualifications:

• 5+ years of public accounting experience
• Licensed CPA or international equivalent preferred
• Sound GAAP and GAAS knowledge
• Familiarity with SEC and PCAOB reporting rules
• Confidence in working independently and as part of a team
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work under tight deadlines
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Leadership and problem-solving abilities
• A positive attitude
• High integrity
