Title: Senior Trusts & Estates Attorney (RELOCATION PROVIDED)

Compensation: $300,000–$400,000, depending on experience and qualifications

An established estate planning and administration practice in Naples is seeking an experienced Trusts & Estates Attorney for a long-term leadership and succession opportunity.

This position is ideal for a seasoned attorney who enjoys sophisticated planning, direct client relationships, and mentoring developing attorneys. The practice focuses on estate planning and administration rather than litigation. Relocation assistance is provided upon acceptance of offer for non-local candidates.

Responsibilities

• Counsel individuals, families, and business owners on estate planning, wealth preservation, and wealth transfer strategies.
• Design and implement estate plans, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, and related documents.
• Advise on estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax considerations.
• Handle complex probate and trust administration matters and advise personal representatives and trustees.
• Develop business succession plans in coordination with clients’ accountants, financial advisors, and other professionals.
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide thoughtful, practical legal advice.
• Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to the practice’s long-term leadership and succession planning.
• Support continued practice growth through referrals, professional relationships, and client development.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Active Florida Bar membership in good standing.
• Ideally 10+ years of substantive estate planning and estate and trust administration experience.
• Experience advising high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners.
• Strong knowledge of sophisticated trust structures and relevant tax considerations.
• Ability to independently manage complex matters and client relationships.
• Excellent drafting, communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Interest in a long-term opportunity with increasing leadership responsibility.
