Our client is seeking a highly skilled Paralegal to support attorneys litigation matters. Candidates must have at least four years of litigation experience and a paralegal certificate. This role involves assisting with commercial litigation, representation of law firms and lawyers, governmental disputes, healthcare, civil rights and family law issues. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, strong litigation experience and able to handle a large caseload.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with commercial litigation, representation of law firms and lawyers, governmental disputes, healthcare, civil litigation and family law issues.
• Filing state and federal.
• Cite checking briefs.
• Organize and track client documents
• Assist with document review and production
• Prepare for all stages of depositions, hearings, mediations and trials
• Support attorneys in all aspects of litigation and preparation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• ABA-approved paralegal certificate required
• Minimum 4+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and attention-to-detail skills
• Excellent research, verbal, and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Experience with Netdocs or similar legal databases and discovery software
• Familiarity with the Blue Book system of citation and experience cite checking
• Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat
• Experience with Juralaw docketing software
