Our federal client is looking to hire a 100% remote Senior Business Systems Analyst. Please send your resume in WORD format should you be interested in exploring this role. The position is on a contract to hire basis and will pay an hourly rate of $50/HR 1099, dependent on experience. We also offer the option of a W2 annual salary of $92K, with full benefits and PTO.
***Due to the required clearance with our government client, only US Citizens, Green Card and Green Card EAD holders may be considered. Clearance requires that the candidates have resided in the US for the past five years. The selected candidate cannot have left the country for longer than 90 consecutive days and no more than 180 cumulative days***
Duties and Responsibilities (to include but not be limited to the following):
- Assist the project leader in leading analyst/programmers in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of application systems
- Analyzes and evaluates complex data processing systems, both current and proposed, translating business area customer information system requirements into detailed system/program requirements
- Provides alternatives, recommendations and assistance to project leader involved in the development, integration, and installation of application systems
- Act as a Scrum Master to lead a team through a project and daily scrums using hybrid project management techniques
Qualifications and Experience:
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a business, information systems or related field. A minimum of ten (10) years of progressively more difficult systems experiences with three years’ experience within the last five years at a systems analyst level working on projects with varied system configurations including database, batch, web-based and API
- Demonstrate ability to define system solutions in comprehensive, quantitative, and qualitative terms to facilitate comparative analysis of alternative system solutions
- Demonstrate ability to plan and execute complex project plans including work breakdown, resource estimates, activity planning, resource scheduling, and negotiation of deliverables, project administration, and status reporting
- Working knowledge of complex application system development and/or information technology tools, techniques, concepts, and software applicable to the site supported
- Must be able to comprehend and retain technical system knowledge
- Must be able to translate Business Requirements into technical User Stories
- Must be able to coordinate the technical activities of others and perform and coordinate the technical and project management activities of estimating and scheduling, planning work, advising others, and inspecting and evaluating products to produce quality finished projects/tasks in a timely manner
- Must be able to communicate technical information to others, expressing facts or ideas clearly, orally or in writing, when answering questions, giving directions, and providing information, individually or in groups
- Must be able to communicate with Business stakeholders on project status and/or initiatives.
- Familiar with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), and Agile methodology
- Must demonstrate proactive practices and self-motivation
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Clearance: Must be able to obtain a Security Clearance
- Must have lived in the US for the last 5 years and not traveled outside of the US for more than 180 days in the last 5 years.
Preferred:
- Experience with VersionOne and ALM
- Experience with technical writing
- Experience in Project Management Office (PMO)
- CSM certification is a plus
Security:
- Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
- Must be able to obtain and keep a Sensitive Clearance
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder and have been living in the U.S. for at least the last five years
- Must not have traveled outside of the United States for more than 180 days in the last five years
