Our client, an AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking an HRIS Coordinator at their offices in midtown New York City. This is a full time, direct hire role paying an annual base salary of $95K to $110K plus a performance-based bonus and excellent benefits plan. This role has a hybrid work schedule allowing for 1 day a week of remote work.
Their client is seeking a dynamic, resourceful and proactive individual to join their Human Resources Department as the Senior HRIS Coordinator. The Senior HRIS Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the management of our client’s HRIS system and processes, including performing technical and analytical work and assisting with the department’s day-to-day system operations while working closely with other members of their client’s Business Professionals teams.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Work closely with their HRIS and Compensation Director and the Senior HRIS Specialist to administer and maintain their human information systems
- Create and maintain employee records across HR information systems; process personnel data changes (e.g., hires, promotions, transfers, terminations) with accuracy and urgency
- Respond to internal HRIS related inquiries or requests in a timely manner and proactively provide regular reports and data sets
- Partner with other departments (e.g., Recruiting, Benefits, Payroll, IT, Finance) to ensure that they have the necessary HR data
- Help configure, test, and manage systems for performance management (goal setting, check-ins, year-end reviews) and compensation planning (bonus payments, salary adjustments, promotions)
- Serve as a key point of contact for the firm’s time and attendance system, including setting up new hires with the proper schedules and time off totals and helping end users with system inquiries
- Maintain online firm directory and ensure data flow is working properly
- Assist with system configurations, upgrades, customizations, and conversions
- Provide end user support for applicant tracking system related questions (Taleo)
- Provide training to New Hires and Managers as needed
- Run detailed reports and conduct employee related analyses as needed
- Help ensure accuracy and security of data stored in HR systems by performing weekly audits
- Maintain C-Suite presentation materials including departmental organization charts
- Develop and revise HR process guides and training materials to drive adoption of HRIS solutions
- Help with external requests for information such as salary survey submissions, and insurance renewal applications
- Process ad-hoc and off-cycle salary adjustments and promotions
- Provide support for annual year-end processes, including performance reviews, and planning for bonus payments, salary adjustments, and promotions
- Liaise directly with vendors (e.g., Acuity, Arclight, ADP) to troubleshoot system problems
- Maintain functional knowledge of HR processes and compliance
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with maturity and discretion
- Other duties and projects, as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) required
- At least three (3) years of relevant experience working in HR Information Systems and/or HR Operations, preferably in the professional services or financial services space
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, including advanced Excel (Lookup Functions, Pivot Tables, IF statements, nested formulas)
- Experience with SaaS-based HRIS system; ADP/Enterprise and Oracle HCM preferred
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g., Taleo, Greenhouse)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Excellent organization and time management skills; ability to shift priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, managing multiple time-sensitive projects with urgency
- Demonstrates accountability and ownership; strong attention to detail, with excellent follow-through and delivery
