Work Environment: Multiple roles available in New York (hybrid) and California, Texas or Chicago (fully remote PST hours only)

JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client, a highly regarded international law firm is seeking a Conflicts Analyst to support the firm’s conflicts clearance and new business intake processes.
Core Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough conflicts checks / screenings and review reports for potential conflicts of interest
- Maintain and update accurate, reliable database records
- Collaborate with conflicts team, attorneys, and General Counsel to resolve issues and support matter openings
- Communicate with attorneys and staff to gather information, clarify discrepancies, and ensure data accuracy
- Validate conflicts check requirements to ensure policy and legal compliance
- Perform corporate research to verify entities and understand organizational structures
- Coordinate with accounting and internal teams to ensure data consistency
- Provide after-hours or weekend support as needed
- Follow firm policies, procedures, and operational standards
Qualifications & Skills
- Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, with ability to learn new systems (e.g., iManage)
- Understanding of conflicts processes in legal/professional services environments
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
- High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Exercise discretion, sound judgment, and confidentiality
- Work effectively independently and collaboratively
- Flexible with scheduling based on business needs
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2+ years of relevant experience in a law firm or professional services setting
- Experience in a conflicts department (Am Law 50 preferred
