Job responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for attorneys to gather essential details for new client and matter openings.
- Oversee the beginning to end matter intake process for both new and existing clients, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with attorneys to obtain conflict waivers when necessary.
- Identify and resolve issues that arise during the intake process to facilitate a smooth workflow.
- Maintain comprehensive records of billing guidelines and matter-specific details, ensuring proper setup in alignment with financial agreements and rates.
- Perform due diligence and track SIR (Self-Insured Retention) details, ensuring appropriate follow-up.
- Oversee multipayor client setups, gathering all necessary information.
- Handle initial case sheet setup, ensuring all required details are accurately recorded.
Job requirements
- Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them in a timely and efficient manner.
- Must be detail-oriented, have excellent time management skills and be able to multitask.
- Working knowledge of Aderant or Intapp.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Suite Products.
- Interpersonal skills to work with other Sandberg Phoenix members in a positive, teamwork environment to service our clients.
- Legal assistant experience a plus.
