Job Title: Litigation Attorney

Location: Bellevue, WA 98005

Salary/Payrate: $160K-$205K

Work Environment: Onsite during ramp up then 2-3 days onsite

Job Description:

Client is looking to add a litigation attorney with 4 – 8 years’ experience. Firm is based in Bellevue, Washington. Their practice focuses on real estate and related areas, including construction, creditors’ rights, and estate planning and probate.

Responsibilities:

• Drafting pleadings, motions, and other court submissions
• Propounding and responding to discovery requests
• Conducting investigations and interviews of clients and witnesses
• Taking and defending depositions
• Court appearances
• Working with expert witnesses
• Attending mediations and conducting settlement negotiations
• Attending trials and arbitrations

Qualifications:

• 4-8 years of litigation experience
• First or second-chair experience with all aspects of civil litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, alternative dispute resolution, and trials or arbitrations
• Track record of consistently delivering high-quality work product
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
