Our client, a highly regarded national law firm, is seeking a skilled Collections Representative to join their accounting team. This role involves working closely with attorneys, support staff, and the broader accounting department to manage high-volume collections. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in collections, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contact clients daily regarding outstanding payments via phone and email
• Track and update account statuses and payment plans
• Issue late payment notices and follow up persistently
• Resolve financial discrepancies and address client inquiries
• Negotiate payment plans and settlement agreements
• Escalate accounts when legal action may be necessary

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of collections experience (legal or similar industry preferred)
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage a high-volume workload
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Aderant software experience is a plus
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently
