Job Title: Financial System Specialist (Aderant)

Salary/Payrate: $90K-$120K (some flex), bonus and AWESOME benefits!!!

JOB DESCRIPTION

Technology

• Assist with managing the use of Aderant, the firm’s Financial Management Time and Billing software solution.
• Work hand in hand with Controller to implement and test new projects in multiple areas such as AP, banking, financial reporting and general ledger.
• Work on special projects, reporting, account summaries, financial modeling, and improving Firm Accounting processes and procedures, as necessary. 
• Assist with increasing Accounting Department efficiency by modernizing processes and capitalizing on automation and technology opportunities such as implementing tools to increase collection rates, A/P automation, billing guidelines integration and other tools that involve integrating the Firm’s Financial Management systems with data uploads/downloads.
• Identify and eliminate legacy inefficiencies—streamlining from accounts payable to Revenue generator processes.

General Ledger

• Complete monthly bank reconciliations and reports for all Firm bank accounts. Identify, follow up and resolve all irregularities. Knowledge of court rules and procedures.
• Complete GL Account reconciliations and analysis as necessary, including posting related adjusting Journal Entries.
• Additional duties as needed

Experience & Education

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or equivalent preferred. 
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a law firm environment preferred. 
• Experience with Aderant Sierra or Elite 3E Financial Management Time and Billing software preferred. 
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, and Excel.
