Job Title: Litigation Paralegal
Location: Atlanta, GA 30363
Salary/Payrate: $75,000–$85,000, bonus and AWESOME benefits!!!
Work Environment: 100% onsite for the initial 90-day probationary period. Upon successful completion of this period, a hybrid work schedule may be considered.

Required:
- Associate’s degree
- Paralegal experience with complex commercial and business litigation disputes
- Prior experience billing time or working toward a billable goal
- Highly proficient in federal court filings, including notices of removal, and have experience supporting attorneys with hearing and trial preparation
- Experience requesting medical records and preparing medical summaries is also required
- Westlaw
Responsibilities
- Performing a broad range of substantive paralegal tasks, this candidate will work directly with attorneys on complex commercial and business litigation disputes.
- Responsibilities include maintaining and monitoring court deadlines for assigned cases, taking ownership of case calendars, electronically filing documents with the Court through the ECF system or local State Court sites under attorney supervision, performing online PACER research, and preparing drafts of pleadings, notices, and motions. Experience drafting medical chronologies is preferred.
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of litigation experience in a law firm, including case preparation from beginning to end and a solid understanding of a paralegal’s role in the litigation life cycle.
- This position is best suited for an individual who is proactive with case management and organization, and who has the knowledge and confidence to move tasks forward with limited oversight.
- They should also possess strong organizational skills, well-developed critical thinking skills, and exceptional attention to detail.
- A working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and eDiscovery databases is required, along with a strong sense of accountability, ownership of projects and responsibilities, the ability to resolve issues proactively, and a true team-oriented mindset.
- A high level of comfort with technology and the ability to quickly learn new software are also key.
- A 2- or 4-year degree and a paralegal certificate are preferred; however, relevant work experience may be substituted for education.
- Candidates should also have the ability to conduct research using various tools, including the Internet and Westlaw.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed to meet business demands is required
