JOB DESCRIPTION #LI-SD1
Our client, a well-regarded international law firm, is looking for an Associate Recruitment Manager to join their team. The position is based in either Denver, Los Angeles, or San Francisco.
The Associate Recruitment Manager is entrusted with overseeing attorney candidate engagement across multiple regions—including Colorado (Colorado Springs and Denver), California (Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Silicon Valley), Houston, and Minneapolis. This role orchestrates law school outreach campaigns, administers the Summer Associate initiatives, and handles strategic endeavors for the broader national recruiting unit.
This leadership position entails supervising a recruitment support group and liaising directly with the Director of Associate Recruiting, in coordination with attorneys involved in hiring and Summer Associate panels.
Responsibilities:
- Manage law school engagement efforts, including career events, interviews, and outreach. Oversee candidate logistics, interview coordination, and communications. Track recruitment data, support diversity initiatives, and enhance the firm’s visibility at target schools.
- Act as the main contact for Summer Associates. Lead onboarding, training, mentorship, and social events. Oversee evaluations, feedback processes, and post-program analysis.
- Collaborate with team leads to identify experienced attorney needs. Manage resume screening, interviews, recruiter relationships, and candidate tracking. Support lateral onboarding.
- Coordinate new attorney integration in partnership with HR and IT. Manage orientations, system entries, and regional onboarding oversight, particularly in California.
- Maintain recruiting records and ensure policy compliance. Assist with budget planning, foster key internal and external relationships, monitor industry trends, and support special projects and firm-wide reporting.
Requirements:
- Exceptional communication, confidentiality, and independent judgment.
- Strong organizational and leadership talents with the ability to manage intricate, multi-region initiatives.
- Proven interpersonal prowess across all organizational tiers.
Experience & Education:
- Minimum of 7 years in legal recruitment or a related professional environment, with 3+ years in managerial roles preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or comparable experiential background.
