Job Title: Litigation Paralegal

Location: Atlanta GA 30326

Salary/Payrate: $75K-$85K annually and AWESOME benefits!!!

Work Environment: Onsite - parking paid by firm

Term: Permanent / Fulltime

Referral Fee: AMS will pay $500 should the person you refer gets hired

Things to know:

• Construction, contract review, creditors rights/collections, and secured transactions. 
• 40-hour work week and eligible for overtime
• Daily hours 8-5 or 7:30-4:30 or 9-6
• 60 hour/month minimum billable hour requirement
• Supporting 2 attorneys
• Drafting pleadings, a lot of documentation work

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Litigation Paralegal to support our trial attorneys in managing a high-volume litigation docket. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess extensive knowledge of state and federal court procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft and format shell discovery responses, correspondence, and pleading shells, and subpoenas
• Prepare hearing and trial notebooks
• Manage and maintain calendaring of court deadlines, hearings, and discovery obligations
• E-file documents in state and federal courts using PACER/ECF
• Assist with Legal Secretary duties as well
• Perform internet and legal research using Westlaw and other platforms

Qualifications:

• Minimum of three (3) years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm setting
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Westlaw, PACER/ECF
• Strong internet research and analytical skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
• Willingness to work overtime as needed, including occasional evenings or weekends during trial prep
