Our client, a mid-sized litigation defense firm, is looking for an experienced Associate Attorney to join their team. The role involves working in multiple areas of law such as insurance defense, medical malpractice, and labor and employment law. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years experience and a license to practice in Missouri. Eligibility for licensure in Illinois is also necessary. Apart from these, skills in areas like toxic tort, environmental, or administrative law are desirable but not mandatory. The position also requires excellent research, writing, and overall communication skills. A background in civil defense litigation is preferred. The Associate Attorney should be highly motivated, well-organized, and capable of keeping pace with a fast-moving legal environment. The job offers exposure to a wide range of cases and frequent interaction with multiple partners.
