JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Litigation Paralegal to support our trial attorneys in managing a high-volume litigation docket. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess extensive knowledge of state and federal court procedures. Furthermore, the ideal candidate will have experience with the Public Utilities Commission and/or the Texas Railroad Commission (this is not an absolute requirement)

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft and format shell discovery responses, correspondence, and pleading shells
• Prepare hearing and trial notebooks
• Manage and maintain calendaring of court deadlines, hearings, and discovery obligations
• E-file documents in state and federal courts using E-File Texas and PACER/ECF
• Assist with trial preparation
• Perform internet and legal research using Westlaw and other platforms

Qualifications:

• Minimum of five (5) years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm setting
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Westlaw, PACER/ECF, and E-File Texas
• Strong internet research and analytical skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
• Willingness to work overtime as needed, including occasional evenings or weekends during trial prep
