Labor & Employment Attorney (Washington State Experience Required)

6-Month Contract | Fully Remote


Our client, a highly respected global law firm known for its sophisticated national labor & employment practice, is seeking an experienced Labor & Employment Attorney to join their team on a 6-month remote contract assignment. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a world-class legal team while enjoying the flexibility of a fully remote role.

Key Qualifications

  • 7+ years of labor & employment experience, including advising and counseling clients on a wide range of workplace and compliance issues
  • Strong background drafting responses to employment agreements, administrative charges, policies, handbooks, and procedures
  • Washington State labor & employment law experience is required
  • California L&E experience is a plus
  • Must be admitted in your state of residence
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally across teams
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex legal projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide practical, solution-oriented guidance to business clients on employment and labor law matters
  • Draft and review employment-related documents, including agreements, responses to agencies, policies, and handbooks
  • Advise on compliance with Washington State employment regulations
  • Handle complex projects with minimal supervision
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to guide and refine employment practices and procedures
