Territory Manager
Menarini Stemline exists to deliver transformational oncology treatments to people living with cancer. As Territory Manager you will be the face of that mission in your geography—opening access, building trust with oncologists and care teams, and ensuring eligible patients can benefit from our medicines. Your results directly expand the reach of therapies that address unmet needs.
Performance Objectives
- Deliver 100%+ of annual territory sales plan within the first 12 months by converting high-potential accounts and protecting existing business.
- Secure formulary or pathway inclusion at 80% of priority institutions within 18 months through evidence-based discussions and stakeholder mapping.
- Grow new-patient starts 25% year-over-year by identifying untreated or undertreated populations and coordinating with MSLs and reimbursement specialists.
- Achieve 90% call-plan adherence and document all interactions in the CRM so national insights stay current and actionable.
- Reduce time-to-therapy by 15% for referred patients through proactive pull-through and barrier removal with office staff and payers.
- Mentor two peer territory colleagues annually, sharing winning tactics that lift regional performance.
Environment & Resources
You report to the Regional Sales Director and partner daily with Medical Science Liaisons, Market Access, and Patient Support teams. You will use Veeva CRM, approved promotional materials, and a dedicated travel and entertainment budget. The territory is supported by a national oncology-focused commercial organization of 501–1,000 colleagues inside the broader Menarini Group.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree plus 4+ years of successful specialty or oncology pharmaceutical sales with documented quota attainment.
- Proven ability to navigate hospital systems, IDNs, and community oncology practices to influence prescribing and access decisions.
- Demonstrated skill in territory planning, account segmentation, and data-driven call execution.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel 50–70% within the assigned geography.
- Strong ethical judgment and full compliance with PhRMA, FDA, and company promotional standards.
