Overview

Our client is seeking a Production Planning Specialist to support scheduling and coordination of manufacturing activities. This role is responsible for aligning production plans with customer demand, inventory levels, and operational capacity to ensure efficient and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand, inventory, and capacity
• Coordinate with operations, supply chain, and procurement to ensure material availability
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks or constraints in the production process
• Maintain accurate data in ERP/MRP systems
• Track key metrics such as on-time delivery, inventory levels, and schedule adherence
• Communicate updates and changes to internal teams



Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Excel or similar tools
