A growing, privately held industrial manufacturing company is seeking a Strategic Sourcer to support its supply chain and procurement initiatives. This role is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and developing supplier relationships to ensure cost efficiency, quality standards, and on-time delivery across critical components and materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and qualify new suppliers aligned with company quality, cost, and delivery requirements
• Conduct market research and supplier benchmarking to support strategic sourcing decisions
• Lead RFQ/RFP processes and analyze bids to optimize total cost of ownership
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with domestic and international suppliers
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, quality, and finance teams
• Support supplier performance management and continuous improvement initiatives
• Mitigate supply chain risk through diversification and contingency planning
• Maintain accurate supplier data and sourcing documentation

Qualifications:

• 3–7+ years of sourcing, procurement, or supply chain experience within manufacturing
• Experience sourcing machined components, castings, electrical/mechanical assemblies, or industrial materials preferred
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and supplier relationship management skills
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred
