Aftermarket Manager
Location: Remote, Western U.S.
Our client, a growing industrial equipment organization, is seeking an Aftermarket Manager to lead and grow its aftermarket business across the Western U.S. This individual will be responsible for driving revenue and customer engagement across aftermarket products, parts, service, and support while building strong relationships with both existing and new customers.
The ideal candidate has experience in industrial equipment or a related technical environment and understands how to identify opportunities within an installed customer base while providing a high level of service and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to grow aftermarket revenue across the assigned territory
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, distributors, and channel partners
- Identify opportunities for replacement parts, service, upgrades, and other aftermarket solutions
- Develop new business opportunities while expanding relationships within the existing customer base
- Partner with sales, service, operations, and technical teams to ensure customer needs are met
- Manage the aftermarket sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasting
- Track customer activity, market trends, and competitive developments within the territory
- Support pricing, proposals, and contract discussions as needed
- Identify opportunities to improve the overall customer experience and increase recurring revenue
- Represent the organization at customer meetings, industry events, and other business development activities
Ideal Background
- 5+ years of experience in aftermarket sales, service sales, account management, or business development
- Experience within industrial equipment, water/wastewater, pumps, process equipment, flow control, or a related technical industry preferred
- Strong understanding of aftermarket products, parts, service, and customer support
- Demonstrated success growing revenue within an existing customer base
- Strong relationship-building and consultative sales skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a large geographic territory
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with technical, operations, and sales teams
- Ability to travel throughout the territory as needed
