Director of Manufacturing

Our client, a leading flooring manufacturer, is seeking a Director of Manufacturing to lead plant operations and drive operational excellence. This individual will oversee production, safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring manufacturing goals are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations across the facility.
• Drive improvements in safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery.
• Develop and mentor manufacturing leadership and production teams.
• Partner with Engineering, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Quality to support operational goals.
• Monitor key performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage staffing, budgets, and overall plant performance.



Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related field preferred.
• 10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience in flooring, building products, wood products, or other industrial manufacturing environments preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
