Project Manager – Heavy Civil Construction

Location: CT

Salary: $100K - $150K (DOE)

Schedule: Full-time, on-site (No remote option)

Responsibilities:

• Oversee project execution from pre-construction to completion
• Manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractor coordination
• Lead field operations and ensure quality, safety, and efficiency
• Prepare and manage project submittals, RFIs, and change orders
• Communicate with stakeholders, clients, and internal teams
• Ensure compliance with construction standards, contracts, and regulations
• Support procurement and workforce planning efforts

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• 8+ years of project management experience in heavy civil construction
• Strong background in estimating, scheduling, and cost control
• Experience with unionized subcontractors is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, HCSS HeavyJob, P6, and SmartBuild
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites
