Senior Project Estimator

Location: CT

Salary: $80K - $120K (DOE)

Schedule: Full-time, on-site (No remote option)

Responsibilities:

• Develop accurate and timely project estimates for public and private sector projects
• Analyze cost data, project drawings, and specifications
• Identify alternative solutions to improve bid competitiveness
• Lead bid review meetings with senior management
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and clients to refine pricing strategies
• Present bid information to field operations for successful project execution

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• 8+ years of estimating experience in heavy civil construction
• Proficiency in HCSS HeavyBid, AGTEK Take-off, Primavera P6, and MS Office Suite
• Strong understanding of construction principles, equipment, and agency requirements
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
