In this challenging role, you will be a leader in designing and executing process and equipment improvements to increase manufacturing efficiencies. You will be the lead engineer analyzing how to optimize production and packaging lines. You will also be the lead in designing production lines that can increase throughput and operational efficiencies.

Responsibilities:

• Spearhead Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives using Kaizen principles across operations.
• Enhance manufacturing processes through benchmarking and planning for change.
• Maintain production line functionality, develop new techniques, and oversee improvement projects.
• Ensure equipment reliability and safety standards are upheld.
• Analyze manufacturing data to boost efficiency and equipment reliability.
• Investigate operational inefficiencies and conduct root cause analyses.
• Collaborate on strategic projects and offer technical solutions to management.
• Develop training material and facilitate process improvement workshops.

Requirements:

• BS in Mechanical Engineering.
• Five years in CI/engineering with Kaizen leadership focus.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or any belt and Kaizen Leadership Certification preferred but will consider other areas of CI methodology.
• Data-driven with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in CPG high speed packaging - beverage - pharma or consumer goods filling environment preferred.
• Proficient in data collection and analysis.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact across all levels.
• Advanced knowledge of ERP applications and statistical software.
• Training in Lean principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
