General Manager – High-Volume Upscale Restaurant


Location: Virginia Beach, VA


Full-Time | $90,000–$120,000 + Bonus | Excellent Benefits


An award-winning and well-established restaurant group is seeking a seasoned General Manager to lead a recently opened, high-volume upscale dining concept in Virginia Beach. Now one month into operations, this role is ideal for a confident, hands-on leader who thrives in refining systems, developing teams, and elevating the guest experience during the critical early-growth phase of a new restaurant.

What You’ll Do as General Manager:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing front- and back-of-house leadership team
  • Refine operational systems following opening to ensure consistency and efficiency
  • Uphold brand standards while delivering an exceptional guest experience
  • Drive financial performance through labor management, cost control, and P&L oversight
  • Foster a culture rooted in hospitality, accountability, and team development
  • Partner closely with senior leadership to support continued growth and long-term success


Ideal General Manager Candidate Has:

  • 3+ years of experience as a General Manager in a high-volume, full-service restaurant
  • Demonstrated success in team leadership, operations, and guest satisfaction
  • Experience stabilizing or scaling operations post-opening is a plus
  • Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and developing people
