Position: Wedding and Event Sales Manager
Primary Responsibilities:
- Drive the sales and planning process for destination weddings, corporate events, and other special occasions.
- Cultivate relationships with potential clients, wedding planners, and event coordinators to promote our properties as the prime venue choice.
- Execute site visits, property tours, and client consultations to showcase our offerings and services.
- Collaborate with the hotel operations team to ensure the flawless execution of events.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to expand our clientele and achieve revenue targets.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, local competitors, and the wedding and event market to adapt and innovate our offerings.
- Provide top-notch client service, ensuring their visions are realized to perfection.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in wedding and event sales at a similar luxury or destination property.
- Proven track record of driving sales and exceeding revenue targets.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build rapport with clients and understand their unique needs.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities to oversee the comprehensive planning and execution of events.
- Proficiency in using event management software and tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with the local market and industry trends.
