We are looking for a National Account Manager with a “hunter” mindset to drive results, growth and manage strategic relationships across key industrial accounts in the tape and adhesive solutions market. This role will be responsible for delivering growth at large national accounts, driving rapid expansion of business opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions to industrial customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and drive growth at strategic national accounts within the industrial tape and adhesive segment.
- Develop and execute high growth-oriented account plans aligned with business objectives and customer needs.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers, including Product Managers, Procurement, and Supply Chain stakeholders.
- Actively identify a robust pipeline of new business opportunities and market segments for tape applications (e.g., automotive, aerospace, electronics, building & construction).
- Drive contract negotiations and pricing discussions to ensure profitability with a sense of urgency.
- Collaborate and drive consensus with key internal stakeholders to provide application-specific solutions and support.
- Partner with National Accounts at key end-users and OEMs to increase product penetration, specification and brand awareness.
- Track sales performance, forecast revenue, and report on activities using CRM tools and other company provided software.
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings as needed.
- Stay informed on market trends, competitors, and regulatory changes affecting various market segments within industrial tapes.
BACKGROUND PROFILE:
- Minimum of (7) years of experience in B2B sales, with a preference for experience in the industrial adhesives or tape industry.
- Demonstrated success managing national accounts while exceeding sales and EBITDA targets.
- Passion for driving results and a thorough understanding of the general industrial markets with a preference for technical knowledge of pressure-sensitive adhesives.
- Experience working with OEMs, contract manufacturers, and end-users on novel new product ideas.
- Proficiency in data-driven sales tools and CRM platforms – Microsoft Dynamics preferred.
- Well-organized with excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to lead diverse teams toward consensus and shared goals.
- Ability to travel up to 50% domestically.
- Background in key verticals such as automotive, aerospace, electronics or building & construction.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
