As a Security Engineer, you pioneer the protection of critical IT infrastructures, devising robust countermeasures that redefine industry standards. Responsibilities:

  • Innovate, implement, and monitor performance-driven security measures, shielding information, network infrastructure, and computer systems.
  • Craft comprehensive cybersecurity architectures, devising strategic computer security blueprints.
  • Identify, document, and recommend system security enhancements while liaising with management for seamless implementation.
  • Tackle configuration, troubleshooting, and upkeep of security infrastructure software and hardware.
  • Deploy cutting-edge software to surveil systems for security breaches, fortifying against intrusions.
  • Proactively monitor systems for irregular activities, crafting preemptive security measures that stay ahead of potential threats.
  • Spearhead the development and evolution of the company’s information security strategy, ensuring it remains at the forefront of industry standards.
  • Educate and empower staff through comprehensive training on information system security best practices.


Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Five or more years experience in System Security Engineering or similar roles.
  • Proven expertise in developing, operating, and maintaining security systems.
  • Extensive knowledge spanning operating system and database security.
  • Proficiency in networking technologies, network security, and monitoring solutions.
  • Familiarity with an array of security systems, including anti-virus applications, content filtering, firewalls, authentication systems, and intrusion detection systems.
  • A deep understanding of security protocols and principles, robust critical thinking, and complex problem-solving skills.
