Director, Enterprise Sales – EMEA
Are you a high-performing enterprise sales leader who thrives in complex environments and knows how to inspire seasoned teams to push further? Are you energized by the challenge of leading in-market sales strategy, scaling teams, and creating clarity in the face of shifting priorities? One of Blackmere’s clients, a fast-scaling global SaaS company, is looking for a dynamic Director, Enterprise Sales – EMEA to lead and elevate their enterprise sales team across the UK, Ireland, and the Nordics.
Why This Role? Why Now?
This is not a turnaround job. You won’t be parachuting in to fix a broken machine. Instead, you’ll inherit a healthy foundation of experienced enterprise sellers and a proven go-to-market approach—then raise the bar. This role is about sharpening performance, scaling predictability, and coaching already strong talent into the next level.
As the company accelerates growth across EMEA, you’ll have the opportunity to define how enterprise sales are executed at scale in a critical region. You'll join a high-energy, mission-driven culture where adaptability, ownership, and results are more than just words on a wall—they're lived values.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and grow a team of enterprise sales professionals and sales leaders across the UKI and Nordics
- Drive excellence in pipeline management, sales forecasting, and enterprise deal execution
- Personally step into high-stakes, strategic deals to support your team and drive results
- Balance long, complex sales cycles with the fast pace and high expectations of a growth-stage SaaS business
- Continuously adapt strategy in line with evolving customer needs, market conditions, and internal priorities
- Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Account Management teams
- Build trusted relationships with C-level buyers in large, regulated enterprise environments
- Foster a culture of accountability, urgency, and continuous learning without burning out your team
What Success Looks Like
- Forecasts are accurate, well-inspected, and trusted at the executive level
- Deals move efficiently, with clear strategy, strong qualification, and executive alignment
- Your team is confident, well-coached, and consistently growing in capability
- Priorities shift—but your team stays aligned, focused, and effective
- The company is seen as a strategic partner, not just a vendor, in enterprise accounts
What You Bring
- Deep experience leading enterprise SaaS sales teams in the EMEA region
- Proven success with complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals—especially those involving finance, ERP, or compliance-driven technologies
- Strong command of forecasting, pipeline discipline, and deal governance
- A leadership style that flexes to different personalities, team maturities, and customer dynamics
- Calm under pressure and clear in ambiguity—you bring structure when others see chaos
- Executive presence and credibility with senior internal stakeholders and global enterprise buyers
- Experience with ERP-integrated solutions such as Oracle is a plus
- Familiarity with regulated or compliance-focused solutions is highly beneficial
What’s In It For You?
- A high-impact leadership role with the ability to shape how enterprise sales is run across a strategically critical region
- The chance to lead experienced, motivated teams—and help them do their best work
- A collaborative, fast-moving culture built around Ownership, Adaptability, Urgency, and Results
- Strong compensation and benefits, plus a clear path to further leadership growth
