Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Management Assistant to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will serve as the vital support to the Program Manager/Relationship Manager, playing a key role in ensuring the smooth execution of various programs and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders. As part project coordinator and part administrator, you will be instrumental in driving projects to success and fostering collaboration within the team. 


Program Management Support: 

  • Assist the Program Manager/Relationship Manager with project planning, scheduling, and execution. 
  • Coordinate high-level meetings, capturing key decisions and action items.
  • Track project progress and manage risks to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Foster collaboration and communication among project team members.
  • Manage meetings for outcomes, including: 
  • Setting clear objectives. 
  • Ensuring attendee availability and commitment. 
  • Preparing materials and agendas. 
  • Taking accurate notes and tracking action items. 
  • Facilitate follow-up on action items with project team members. 


Administrative Support: 

  • Manage the Program Manager/Relationship Manager’s calendar, including scheduling meetings. 
  • Prepare meeting agendas and take accurate notes. 
  • Assist with maintaining project documentation and filing systems. 


Relationship Management: 

  • Support the Program Manager/Relationship Manager in building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 


You're a great fit if you have: 

  • Experience as a program manager, project manager, program management assistant, or in a similar role. 
  • Strong understanding of program and project management principles, especially in a technical software product development environment. 
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple deadlines. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Experience working remotely and using collaboration tools. A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
  • You are interested in applying and enhancing your skills, expanding your knowledge and helping to secure the Nation’s critical infrastructure and protect the Nation’s way of life.

  • Experience in the electric utility industry. 
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Projects.


Salary:

  • The targeted pay range for this long-term contract position is $35-$55 per hour.


Location: 

  • This position can sit out of the following locations: Spokane, WA, Idaho Falls, ID, or Salt Lake City, UT. Willing to explore outside of these locations for the ideal candidate.


Remote Work Expertise: 

  • Proficiency in virtual collaboration and task management is essential. 


Work Schedule: 

  • Standard working hours will be 7-4 PT, but flexibility is required to accommodate projects spanning multiple time zones (ET, MT, CT, PT). While weekend work is preferred on occasion, it is not mandatory.



Travel Requirements: 

  • Limited travel may be required.
