ISC’s team of Manufacturing Recruiters is partnering with an established and growing manufacturer to identify a Buyer/Purchaser.
The Buyer/Purchaser will manage the end-to-end purchasing process – from order receipt to delivery – including placing and tracking purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams, and optimizing inventory levels to ensure timely production and delivery.

Buyer/Purchaser Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 2+ years of purchasing experience; supervisory experience a plus
- Manufacturing industry experience
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel); tech savvy
- Technically/mathematically inclined
- Positive, highly organized, detail-oriented, multi-tasking, self-starter
- Wants to help in other areas and grow with the company

Buyer/Purchaser Responsibilities:
- Manage the full purchasing process from order receipt through delivery, including placing POs and tracking orders
- Build and maintain supplier relationships to ensure service, support, and timely material availability
- Partner with Production and internal teams to align material needs and ensure on-time delivery
- Monitor inventory levels, turns, and safety stock to optimize supply and minimize excess
