ISC’s team of Manufacturing Recruiters is partnering with an established and growing manufacturer to identify a Buyer/Purchaser. 

The Buyer/Purchaser will manage the end-to-end purchasing process – from order receipt to delivery – including placing and tracking purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams, and optimizing inventory levels to ensure timely production and delivery.

Buyer/Purchaser Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• 2+ years of purchasing experience; supervisory experience a plus
• Manufacturing industry experience
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel); tech savvy
• Technically/mathematically inclined
• Positive, highly organized, detail-oriented, multi-tasking, self-starter
• Wants to help in other areas and grow with the company

Buyer/Purchaser Responsibilities:

• Manage the full purchasing process from order receipt through delivery, including placing POs and tracking orders
• Build and maintain supplier relationships to ensure service, support, and timely material availability
• Partner with Production and internal teams to align material needs and ensure on-time delivery
• Monitor inventory levels, turns, and safety stock to optimize supply and minimize excess
