The Generative AI Technology team is a team of skilled professionals who are responsible for conceptualizing and developing, the firm's Generative AI efforts. The team works closely with business stakeholders, the Tech Innovation team, and development teams across Technology to deploy cutting-edge AI technology that has the ability to transform the firm’s operations. 

What you’ll do 

As an SME of Vector DB as a Service, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, benchmarking and optimizing our Vector DB as Service capabilities while collaborating with various teams to integrate these into our solutions and best practices. You will help us stay abreast of the latest improvements and technologies on semantic search and Vector DBs, and identifying and adopting our Vector DB vendor strategy. You'll also be responsible for monitoring our Vector DB performance as well as tuning it. 

Specifically, you will: 

·       Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Vector DB as a Service.  

·       Design, Implement and maintain Vector DB services including ingestion, indexing, querying, etc. 

·       Manage, maintain, and benchmark the performance of our Vector DB services ensuring optimal performance and stability. 

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize our Vector DB performance and scalability. 

·       Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to Vector DB performance. 

·       Provide technical guidance and support on generative AI models and other advanced AI applications. 

What’s required. 

·       Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related field 

·       3+ years of experience in search, managing database as a service, Vector DBs or semantic search 

·       Strong knowledge of Vector DBs 

·       Experience with generative AI models and techniques  

·       Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills 

·       Strong communication and collaboration abilities 

·       Commitment to the highest ethical standards
