The Generative AI Technology team is a group of skilled professionals who are responsible for conceptualizing and developing, the firm's Generative AI efforts. The team works closely with business stakeholders, the Tech Innovation team, and development teams across Technology to deploy cutting-edge AI technology that has the ability to transform the firm’s operations.
Summary
We are looking for a seasoned front-end developer to join our team and help us build a best-in-class Generative AI platform. You will design and implement the front-end architecture, integrate with our platform services APIs, and test/deploy/maintain the user interface used across the firm.
What you’ll do
· Develop a best-in-class user interface for our generative AI platform, using the latest web technologies and stack such as NextJS/React/Angular
· Design, implement and support a front-end integrated with our RESTful APIs
· Triage issues and debug/track/resolve them by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on service operations and quality
· Partner with other software engineers, designers, QA engineers, and product managers to architect and prototype UI features and interaction design
· Work closely with program/project managers and stakeholders to manage priorities and deliver projects in a timely manner.
What’s required
· Experienced building single page web applications using RESTful web services and processing JSON data
· Experience tuning front-end applications to optimize performance across platforms
· Proficiency in user interface design to achieve user-friendly experiences
· Familiar with testing, debugging, deployment, and continuous integration tools and techniques for web applications
· Experience with React/Angular, NextJS, and TypeScript
· Writing component and E2E tests in Cypress and maintaining strong code coverage
· Working knowledge of computer science basics, such as basic data structures and algorithms
· Ability to prototype new concepts quickly and iterate for rapid feedback
· Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
