This is a Project Manager role with a lean, established general contractor that builds and upgrades data centers and other facilities that can’t go down. The work happens inside live, operating sites: electrical-heavy build-outs where phasing, tie-ins and uptime all matter at once. You’ll own your projects from preconstruction through energization and closeout, with direct access to leadership and the authority to make decisions.

• A senior project engineer or assistant PM with 5+ years who’s ready for the Project Manager title
• A PM at a smaller electrical contractor ready for bigger, more technical mission-critical work
• Tired of the daily drive and five days a week on site

What you’ll do

• Run 2–4 projects at a time: schedule, budget, safety, quality and the client relationship
• Coordinate electrical scopes: switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS, transfer switches and power distribution
• Manage long-lead equipment from submittal through delivery, startup and commissioning
• Plan energizations, shutdowns and integrated systems testing without disrupting a live facility
• Work side by side with superintendents, engineers, estimating and commissioning teams

What you bring

• 5+ years in commercial construction as a PM, APM, project engineer or senior project engineer
• Experience with data centers, mission-critical sites or complex electrical construction
• Comfort reading drawings, including electrical one-line diagrams
• Solid command of scheduling, cost control, procurement, change orders and subcontractors

Bonus points

• Controls experience: BMS, EPMS, SCADA, PLCs or power monitoring
• Upgrades completed inside operating facilities
• Procore, Bluebeam and CPM scheduling; OSHA 30
