Summary:


The Field Services Project Specialist role provides mechanical and electrical technical expertise to support new installation, commissioning, and operation of industry specific automated systems. Incumbents are expected to provide technical service and maintenance across a variety of client sites troubleshooting and maintaining electrical and mechanical systems.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Install new automated equipment and connect system components at client central processing centers.
  • Troubleshoots network configuration, cisco switch configuration and server configuration.
  • Advises operators of operation procedures and requirements for working safely with electrical/electronic and mechanical equipment and components. Performs all functions within the Safety and Environmental policies of ENTRUST and governmental laws and orders
  • Performs preventive maintenance functions as directed.
  • Assists maintenance personnel with technical troubleshooting.
  • Assists and trains maintenance and other technical-level employees.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as requested


Required Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Technology, Manufacturing, Industrial Science, Robotics, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of technical or mechanical repair service with mechanical or electrical systems is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with PLC, Integrated controls, Power Supplies, Drives, Gauges, Networking and Test Equipment would be beneficial but not required.
  • Detail and quality oriented. Must be comfortable reading and interpreting technical documentation including blue prints, construction specifications and other items.
  • Strong communication and customer skills.
  • Must have own vehicle and ability to travel no less than 75%
  • Ability to understand instructions and independently carry out instructed tasks.
