Job Summary:

  • Monitor, mentor, and assist Level 1 Helpdesk Technicians.
  • Responsible for the second level of ticket escalation above level 1.
  • Responsible for prioritizing current tickets and customer satisfaction ratings of the helpdesk system.
  • Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, or electronically research questions using available information resources
  • Advise user on appropriate action
  • Follow standard help desk procedures
  • Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
  • Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with a wide range of desktop applications such as Microsoft Office XP, PhotoShop, Acrobat Pro, etc.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in IT and/or customer support

·        Highly motivated, self-starter, and independent thinker

·        Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail

·        Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to all levels of technical and non-technical co-workers.

 

Additional Benefits:

  • Benefits & Salary: This position pays between $23.00 and $25.00 an hour and is a non-exempt position.
  • Benefits offered include company sponsored medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plan with company match. Also offered are tuition reimbursement, voluntary life, disability, critical illness, accident and hospitalization plans. HSA or FSA medical accounts and FSA dependent care and transportation/parking accounts are also available. These benefits are subject to employee contribution amounts generally set annually.
  • Full time employees are eligible to earn PTO hours.
  • May be eligible for discretionary bonus as determined by the company.
