We’re actively seeking a Data Analyst to provide data validation, analysis, and quality assurance on data gathered on fallen trees in Northern California

 

  • Manage data from multiple sources, analyze the data, manipulate the data, and package the data in specified formats.
  • Ability to dive deep into the data pool and resurface with the appropriate analysis.
  • Use statistical methods to analyze data, create, build, and manage useful tailored analytics reports and dashboards for multiple audiences.
  • Ensure data integrity by performing quality checks.

 

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Mathematics, Engineering, Environmental Science, Geographic Information Systems, Information Systems, Business, or relatable degree is required.
  • 1-7 years of proven reporting and analytics experience within business, project management, and/or consulting environments.
  • Ability to manage and pull data from multiple data sources, import the data into various forms and sculpt the data for presentation to various audiences.
  • Extensive experience creating tailored reports…dashboarding a plus!
  • Ability to create, modify, automate, and run SQL queries needed to mine and analyze data.
  • SQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Strong data analysis, data modeling, database management, and data manipulation.
  • Extensive MS Excel knowledge, preferably the Power Suite (Power Query, Power Pivot).
  • MS Access
  • Familiar with data-structures.
  • Proven experience meeting concurrent deliverables on time and within specified requirements.
  • Proven ability to understand both business processes as well as the underlying data.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • This position pays between $60,000 and $83,000 annually and is an exempt position.
  • Benefits offered include company sponsored medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plan with company match. Also offered are tuition reimbursement, voluntary life, disability, critical illness, accident and hospitalization plans. HSA or FSA medical accounts and FSA dependent care and transportation/parking accounts are also available. These benefits are subject to employee contribution amounts generally set annually.
  • Full time employees are eligible to earn PTO hours.
  • May be eligible for discretionary bonus as determined by the company.
