Job Summary:

Substation Owner’s Engineer (OE) is required to perform a variety of senior level engineering tasks which are broad in nature and to interact with Clients to accurately interpret Client, organizational and technical requirements based on the information provided.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide senior technical consultancy on electrical, relay protection, and control engineering to the project team
• Provide overall technical guidance, producing/reviewing equipment, design and construction specifications, producing construction sequences, reviewing design deliverables, and advising on the viability of alternative approaches. 
• Prepare technical specifications required for services, materials and equipment for the systems and facilities or for other work requested by the Client. 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• 15 + years of experience in electrical substations (minimum 345 kV).
• Professional Engineering license
• Expertise at analyzing, understanding, confirming, and modifying utility design drawings for substation projects
• Command of substation equipment and materials / components and their functionality including air and gas insulated equipment, protection and control, metering, and SCADA
