Job Summary:

The Project Scheduler will act as an extension of EN Engineering Client’s Project Controls Organization to develop, manage and maintain multiple project schedules and deliver concise baseline and schedule reviews and analysis. The scheduler will be required to work with functional leads to ensure that schedules are accurate, comprehensive, and include milestones, deliverables, dependencies, predecessors, successors, lag and all other pertinent project schedule data as required. Specific duties shall include but not be limited to the following:

 

Develop and update project schedule(s) in accordance with applicable client standards and requirements.

Proactively monitor and status project activities.

Work with project management and functional leads to adjust scheduled activities.

Identify and assess critical path and activities with minimal float.

Create reports on project(s) status and report as required to project management and stakeholders.

Participate in project team meetings. Present schedule data as required by the project manager.


Required Qualifications:

Associate degree from an accredited college or university (Bachelor’s degree preferred).

A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience (preferably in the electric utility or energy industry).

Proficiency in Primavera / P6.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Comfortable and effective working independently, as well as leading and working in teams across functional groups.

Excellent technical, analytical, and organizational skills.

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

 

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer, and to attend meetings at various sites within and away from the Firm; must also be able to work at a desk for long periods of time (2-3 hours); strength to lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen; and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone.
