
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for performing various procurement and supply chain functions for multiple Business Units concurrently. This position performs procurement tasks such as solicitation of vender quotations for materials and equipment, coordination of material quotations and analysis of quotations, preparation of construction bid specifications and construction bid packages, initial analysis and evaluation of contractor proposals, coordination of procurement tasks and interface with client procurement departments. This position performs most assignments independently with minimal instructions from project managers or engineers. This position receives technical guidance and engineering specifications from various engineers, project managers, and technical leads. This position is responsible for ensuring that the appropriate procurement policies are adhered to for all purchases

Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer, and to attend meetings at various sites within and away from the Firm; must also be able to work at a desk for long periods of time (2-3 hours); strength to lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen; and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone.
