This position is responsible for general technical writing duties including, but not limited to, proposal document development and coordination, statement of qualifications development, lead management, and other duties associated with the preparation and timely submission of technical client proposals.

Location: Remote but Must live in California

The proposal support specialist will be part of a collaborative work environment working in concert with the business development team and project management team.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist with compilation of all proposal materials.

Assist in scheduling of all proposal reviews and adherence to proposal process and procedures.

Work with and coordinate with marketing on all non-technical proposal inputs

Assist with compilation of statements of qualification

Create and maintain a “catalog” of proposal and statements of qualification inputs for future use (i.e., similar project experience past 2 years, case studies, past projects, resumes, etc.)

Assist with gathering and analyzing and updating CRM data for BD team use

Maintain ongoing win/loss analysis and follow up data

Create pricing analysis-win/loss analysis for similar type projects

Assist with content development, writing, assembly, and organization of marketing collateral

Assist with development and coordination of project summaries for future marketing communication

Assist with lead management

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or equivalent work experience

(ideally 3-5 years of experience with technical proposal development or similar)

Highly motivated, self-directed individual able to work independently and with minimal supervision

Effective written and oral communication skills, with tact and diplomacy

Excellent time management skills, attention to detail and ability to multi-task

Ability to build and maintain good working relationships with staff members

Unquestioned business and personal integrity

Experience using Microsoft Office products

This position pays between $68,000 and $87,360 annually and is an exempt position.

Full time employees are eligible to earn PTO hours.

May be eligible for discretionary bonus as determined by the company.
