Job Summary: The Corrosion Technician is responsible for physically assisting in the execution of field projects and basic field level corrosion control and system integrity activities. They are expected to perform corrosion engineering tasks as a member of a team on multiple small to medium sized projects. This position receives technical guidance on new design topics that have not been experienced.  


 

Required Qualifications:

  • 0-2 years of work experience in corrosion, petrochemical, or related industries
  • Collaborative approach to problem solving
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Unquestioned business and personal integrity
  • Basis computer skills related to the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel 30 to 90% of the time depending on location and project needs
  • Possess the strength to lift and carry materials weighing up to 25-50 pounds
  • Valid driver's license


 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree
