Job Summary: The Associate Corrosion Engineer is responsible for performing basic corrosion engineering and cathodic protection design on a variety of engineering tasks with moderate supervision. They are expected to perform as a member of a team on multiple small to medium sized projects. This position receives technical guidance on new design topics that have not been experienced.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Applying sound engineering knowledge of engineering principles and practices in broad areas of project assignment that relates to the gathering of field data, assessment, and reporting
  • Documenting and performing basic corrosion control measurements
  • Recognizing and responding to abnormal measurements or conditions
  • Applying technical standards and procedures consistent with the task performed
  • Following system of quality control and checking on all projects assigned
  • Maintaining a collaborative spirit in working with other colleagues
  • Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as necessary



Required Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree (BS) in engineering from an accredited university, new grads with material science or corrosion engineering degrees encouraged to apply!
  • 1-3 years of work experience in corrosion engineering and cathodic protection
  • Will consider higher level engineers or candidates with AMPP / NACE corrosion certifications
  • Collaborative approach to problem solving
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of time within the continental US
