Team Description:
The COO Model Review team are carrying out a current state analysis and future state design for the Technology Operations and Firm Resilience (TOFR) function. The aim of the programme is to deliver an enhanced operating model which drives increased value to the business.
Role Description:
The Business Analyst (BA) role will be responsible for carrying out detailed business analysis of key current state processes in the COO function (eg financial management, workforce management), the interfaces to other functions in the firm (eg Finance, HR) and the underlying systems supporting the processes.
The BA will also work with key stakeholders on the design of reengineered processes and, where appropriate, specifications for system enhancements. Primary Responsibilities:?Mapping and measurement of key processes
Mapping of underlying systems and data flows
Creation of documents to visualise current state for stakeholders
Design of process enhancements and new process flows
Specification of system enhancements
Workshop facilitation
Update PMO on all activities and issues
Skills/Experience required:
Business analysis (6+ years)
Process mapping
Data analysis
Requirements capture
Process design
Systems specification
Ability to facilitate workshops with stakeholders
Experience with decision support/financial functions in banks
Desirable:
Target operating model design and implementation experience
Accounting/Financial background
