Description: The mission of the Data Protection fleet extends to the design, engineering and operation of solutions, which secure data at rest and in transit. In support of this, an infrastructure security engineer, specializing in macOS, is required to support the design and implementation of controls across our Mac environment. The role will focus on the design and integration of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Forensic controls and tooling, and would be suited to an experienced Mac or security engineer. A proven understanding of implementing security controls in an enterprise environment is crucial.
These are the main requirements
-Symantec DLP technology experience; Designing, Engineering, Managing & Supporting
-Strong MAC Security & infrastructure background (Endpoint)
-Strong DevOps/Automation/Scripting skills. PowerShell, Python, Perl
Responsibilities:
-Working with Operations teams, supporting the resolution of production issues. -Drive the determination and implementation of solutions (large or small) across platforms.
-Drive the production of the solutions across appropriate engineering and operations teams Architect/Engineer Data Loss Prevention and Forensic controls across an evolving Apple/macOS enterprise environment -Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for macOS security & advice on Data Loss Policy Development
-Provide solutions for the Integration with analytics and compliance tooling -Create, review, maintain and update documentation including Documenting & Publishing fixes in central knowledge base -Work with global colleagues to provide globally consistent processes and solutions.
Required Knowledge:
-The candidate must demonstrate strong infrastructure technical qualities - Preferably in a global environment, ideally within the finance or other regulated industry.
-Excellent understanding and experience of architecting, engineering and automating Mac security controls in a large, enterprise environment
-Advanced experience of Scripting, Automation and DevOps
-Expert knowledge of Apple security model macOS (Mac OS X) expert knowledge (up to and including debugging).
-Familiarity with Windows/Linux Operating Systems-Good Infrastructure experience
- Active Directory, LDAP, Group Policy, MIT Kerberos, DNS -Good networking skills & understanding of Firewalls, Routing, NAT, OSI Model, packet trace and analysis Skills
-Good understanding of secure coding techniques and IT security principals in general
-Good Interpersonal Skills
